This workshop will focus on self-portraiture, in its broadest sense, as a means of reflection and transformation. The goal of the workshop is not to draw a traditional self-portrait. The intention is for students to go deeper within themselves, dropping the masks society conditions them to wear, to discover aspects of themselves they have kept hidden. Students will be provided with charcoal, watercolor, pastel and paper as well as prompts.
No drawing experience is necessary.
